"Hello, my name is Jane-Alam and I come from Moradabad, and after finishing school, I joined my family's 100 year-old handcrafts workshop. We specialize in brass decorative and utility products.

"My maternal grandfather was honored with a National Award in recognition of his work. He was a great artisan, and his art has been passed from generation to generation. I was 20 when I started working, and it's been over 30 years since I first started in this field. I am proud to mention that our products have found acceptance not only in India, but in countries such as France and England too. It is a wonderful feeling to know that our work and effort is appreciated. Our products have received good response.

"Although this is still a family venture, we have been able to offer employment to more artisans, some of who have also received National Awards.

"We are glad to be associated with Novica. I hope our new relationship will bring us new ideas and more opportunities."
